About

A local cherry grower required a purpose-built facility to bring sorting, grading, and packing operations in-house. The building needed to provide precise temperature control, accommodate specialised machinery, and ensure an efficient workflow for handling cherries destined for export and local markets.

The Attika Approach

Attika collaborated with other specialists to design and deliver a fully integrated processing and coolstore facility. The insulated panel cladding and advanced air conditioning system ensure that cherries are stored at the correct temperature, preserving quality for different markets.

By coordinating the design, consent, and structural solutions, and working alongside a local builder for construction the client we were able to provide a facility that supports efficient cherry grading, sorting, and packing, helping the grower streamline operations and expand production capacity.

Key Outcomes

  • Precision cooling and insulation create an optimal storage environment.
  • Efficient workflow layout supports seamless processing and packaging.
  • Durable, hot-dip galvanized structure ensures longevity and low maintenance.
  • Future-ready facility designed to scale with growing production demands.
